European Education Fair Taiwan (EEFT) and China Education Expo (CEE) 2016
In October 2016, the University of Göttingen, via its China Office, participated in the European Education Fair Taiwan (EEFT) for the first time. The numerous, very interested and in many cases well-prepared visitors made the education fairs in Taipei and Taichung successful events. In addition, the opportunities for doctoral and research stays in the fields of life sciences and chemistry at the institutions of the Göttingen Campus were promoted during a “Research in Germany” workshop in Taipei.
As in the last years, the University’s China Office furthermore participated in the China Education Expo (CEE), also in October 2016. With booths at the CEE venues Beijing (photo), Chengdu and Shanghai, China Office intensively promoted the University of Göttingen.
These marketing activities in Taiwan and China were very successful. The numerous visitors showed great interest in Bachelor, Master or Doctoral studies at the University of Göttingen and in research stays at institutions of the Göttingen Campus, and they had the opportunity to get detailed information in face-to-face counselling interviews.
