Introductory Week for International Students
Every semester, the University of Göttingen organises the “Introductory week for international students”. This winter semester 2016/17, it took place from October 4 to October 10, 2016, at the Central Lecture Hall, at the Platz der Göttinger Sieben, under the motto “Introduction to Studying and Life in Göttingen”.
The Introductory Week helps international students to become familiar with the University and the city of Göttingen and meet other international students. A team of fellow student tutors showed the newcomers around the campus as well as leisure facilities.
The Introductory week offers a wide variety of activities in and outside the Campus (some of which require an online registration), and it´s a great opportunity to become familiar with the “new home” and to meet fellow international students.
