Valia Carvalho

Valia Carvalho joined the Welcome Centre as team leader in October 2022. She has been working at the International Office as Regional Coordinator for Latin America and Africa since 2015.

Valia Carvalho comes from Bolivia and has studied in Argentina and Mexico and holds a BFA and a MFA in Fine Arts. Since 2005 she has worked as project coordinator in several institutions as the Humboldt University in Berlin, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, and WWF Bolivia.
