Dear readers, dear colleagues,
In this edition, we wish to draw your attention to new projects, programmes and cooperations with universities all around the globe, including new study abroad opportunities in New Zealand and a new partnership with Xiamen University.
Various virtual events for German and international participants took place. Read about the first virtual Alumni Day, the information week “Vamos Conoce América Latina!” and the conference “United in Diversity – A Europe of Sustainability” – these are only a few of many examples for online events that took place in the winter semester 2020/21.
In the section Featured Study Programme we promote Chemistry and give 5 reasons why international students should study Chemistry in Göttingen.
The University’s Career Service continues to support German and international students during this unusual winter term with job and internship orientation, application writing and preparing for self-presentation situations with a wide range of virtual offerings.
