Fourth Göttingen Summer School on Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure
From September 25 to October 6, the University of Göttingen welcomed around 100 lawyers and attorneys from 14 Latin American countries. The guests participated at the fourth Summer School on Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure in Spanish and Portuguese languages.
This year, leading researchers from the Anglo-American region gave lectures and seminars as well. The Summer School is organised by the Research Department for Latin American Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (“Centro de Estudios de Derecho Penal y Procesal Penal Latinoamericano – CEDPAL”) whose director Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Kai Ambos welcomed the guests at the opening event.
After the success of the previous Summer Schools, which took place in 2011, 2013, 2015, this fourth edition awoke even greater interest: from more than 300 applications, 100 participants – academics, young researchers, judges, attorney and lawyers – from Latin America and Spain were selected.
