Do you have a pioneering spirit? Do you want to take part in a brand-new, innovative European adventure? Then join us and embark on the Global Engagement Module by ENLIGHT, a group of nine collaborating European universities! The Global Engagement Module aims to lay the exciting foundation for global citizenship and a career.
Global Engagement Module
All major challenges of today – like the climate crisis, energy transition, digital revolution, public health – go beyond the boundaries of traditional academic disciplines. Tomorrow’s academics will only tackle these if they are truly globally engaged and equipped with the right mindset and general skills and competencies.
Programme
The 5 EC module will start with a group of 45 students in the Spring of 2022. They will be divided into threeLearning Communities (LCs) of 15 students each, which will then later be split up into smaller teams of 5 . There will be 3 challenges for students to work on, each provided by a different university: Public Health (Groningen); Migration and Society (Ghent); and Climate Change (Göttingen).
