DAAD – New Calls Published

On 1 April 2021, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) published new calls for 14 higher education programmes:

To support the internationalisation of teaching, the DAAD offers funding for “Visiting Lectureships” for international academics to teach at a German university. The call is open for all fields and subjects until 15 July 2021.

Applications for funding of alumni activities within Germany or abroad (“Alumni-Programme with Developed Countries, Developing Countries and Subject-related Alumni Projects with Developing Countries”) can be submitted until the mid/end of June 2021.

To foster bilateral research collaborations with partners abroad, the DAAD supports the mobility of young researchers through the “Programme of Project-Related Personal Exchange”. Currently, calls are open for Australia, Canada, Columbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan and USA with individual deadlines.

An overview of all DAAD programmes including further details can be accessed through the DAAD’s project database (in German only). Short descriptions of the calls currently published can be found here (in German only).
