Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries in the MA Development Economics
The Master’s Programme in Development Economics of the Faculty of Economic Sciences has been included in the scholarship programme „Development-Related Post-Graduate Programmes“ (EPOS) of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the time period of 1 July 2018 to 31 December 2025.
As part of this programme, up to eight students of the Master’s programme in Development Economics from developing and emerging countries will be supported with an annual individual scholarship and an accompanying support programme. Funding is provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The monthly scholarship will be around € 750 per student, in addition to coverage for health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
The target group of the scholarship programme is comprised of primarily technical experts and managers from developing and emerging countries with an undergraduate degree and at least two years of professional experience. Additional information on the EPOS programme is available here.
