GGNB Excursion to Wartburg Castle
This year’s excursion of the Göttingen Graduate School for Neurosciences, Biophysics and Molecular Biosciences (27 August 2016) took the students to Wartburg castle and Eisenach. Almost 30 doctoral students from 14 countries joined the tour. They could escape the summer heat on a guided tour through the Wartburg, where they were introduced to many fascinating facts and stories of the castle’s history. The visit was further complemented by a guided walking tour through the picturesque old town of Eisenach.
