University of Göttingen Takes Part in the Diversity Audit
The University of Göttingen has successfully applied for the Diversity Audit. Together with ten other German universities (including the universities of Cologne, Nürnberg-Erlangen, Hamburg and Vechta) it will go through an accompanied organisational development process throughout the next two years. It is the audits aim to support the universities in creating an atmosphere that enables students and employees to be successful in their work. The University of Göttingen strives to develop processes and structures in studies, teaching, research and administration in a way that acknowledges the diversity of students and employees.
After signing the Diversity Charter in June 2015 and appointing a vice president, who is also responsible for equality and diversity, the university takes another step towards an organisational structure and a culture characterized by respect and appreciation.
