Dear readers and colleagues,

we are in the middle of a very hot summer and there was a lot going on in Göttingen: The new academic museum „Forum Wissen“ opened its doors, about 25,000 people visited the 5th Night of Science of our university, we got a visit from students of the German School in Cuenca, Ecuador, and a liveSciences³ project team travelled to Costa Rica to shoot educational videos.

There will also be a lot going on at the end of the summer and in the fall. The ENLIGHT network continues its work. The digital campus development is in full swing, online lectures will continue, the second Teaching and Learning Conference „Diversity and Co-Creation in Higher Education – inclusive approaches on-campus and online“ will take place in Göttingen from 16 to 18 November, and science & music meet at the concert „The Four Seasons in (Climate) Change“.

The liveSciences³ Project continues working towards its aim to bring students and educators together to actually live science across universities and countries and offers a variety of activities.

There are two open calls under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and an open call from the ENLIGHT Network for the ENLIGHT R&I Prize.

We are looking forward to welcoming new international students at the introductory events in September and October 2022.

You will also find information about studying and German courses for refugees, childcare on Saturdays, other events, and the new mentoring programme at Alumni Göttingen.

Enjoy our newsletter & enjoy the summer!
